Joe Ainsley

Senior Service Lines Manager

Jo manages all Switching Services within Pay.UK (CASS, CISA and BPRS). Originally joining the CASS team back in 2016 from her previous 24 year career within NatWest Group (formally RBSG), where for the last 2 years she held the position of CASS Industry Representative for the then 7 brands of RBSG. Jo has a wealth of experience from both a wider financial industry perspective and the central switching and payments services.
Ian Bates

Founder and Creative Partner

Ian’s career has largely been spent with brands at the intersection of creativity, data and technology. He’s worked with major brands such as Thatcher’s, the NHS and Vittoria to start-ups. A co-instigator of the DMA Marketing Confident Initiative for start-ups and scaleups, Ian remains passionate about the power of ideas and the potential in people to bring both commercial and personal growth. 
Former roles include Trustee GRT Creative Network for students, DMA Awards Committee and Grand Prix judge, Vice-Chair DMA UK Agencies Council. 
Liz Barclay

Small Business Commissioner ………

Liz Barclay is the Small Business Commissioner for the UK. She has a background in broadcasting and journalism specialising in small business, personal finance and consumer affairs and is author of several business books. She is also Chair of the Fair by Design Campaign (to tackle the poverty premium); and a non-executive Director of the Lending Standards Board and member of the Equity Release Council Standards Board.
Until she took up the role of SBC Liz was a Financial Inclusion commissioner, an Ambassador for Business Debtline, a member of the Fundraising Regulator Standards Board and ran to give small businesses a voice with policy makers. She worked with Boards and small businesses on improving governance, trust and culture, inclusivity, employee engagement, and understanding customer behaviour. She is also a communication and presentation skills coach and chairs national and international conferences.  
Joost de Kruiff

Joost is responsible for the overall running of Home Grown and connecting a strong community of experienced entrepreneurs, sophisticated investors and trusted advisors. He is an international hotelier and connector with 25 years of experience, having worked in a variety of global chains and boutique hotels in Holland, China and USA. Since moving to London, he has spent his time opening, (re)branding and developing hotels and restaurants. Over the last few years, Joost has dedicated his expertise to building and curating a high growth and balanced community at London’s leading business club, Home Grown.

Jeffrey Faustin

Jeffrey joined Jenson in 2013 and is a Partner and Chief Investment Officer and sits on the Executive Committee. Jeffrey is responsible for overall investment strategy and portfolio management of the Fund’s investments.
Prior to joining Jenson, Jeffrey worked as a Technical Director for WS Atkins across the Middle East where he ran a large technical team and advised clients on complex commercial and infrastructure projects.
Jeffrey holds an MBA from London Business School and an MSC in Engineering from the University of Surrey as well as the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting.

He has spent nearly 30 years in technology across a diverse range of private and public sector organisations, including several Formula 1 teams. Today, his focus is on scaling Talk Think Do, building the right team and expertise to provide innovative solutions that solve the complex challenges clients face.  
Cleo Morris

Serial entrepreneur, Cleo Morris, is the founder and director of Mission Diverse. Her organisation works to develop better diversity and inclusion practices, policies, and initiatives in corporate companies across the world. Cleo also works to support people within local deprived communities to develop their start-up enterprise and employability skills. With aims of empowering and supporting more people from diverse communities to enter into the world of entrepreneurship.  
Zara Nanu

Gapsquare from XpertHR

Dr. Zara Nanu is the CEO of Gapsquare™, from XpertHR offering diversity and equality data intelligence through innovative technology. Zara sits on the Global Future Council on New Agenda for Equity and Social Justice at World Economic Forum, has spoken and written for various global equity strategy organisations and is part of the Women’s Leadership Board, WAPPP at Harvard Kennedy School. Zara Nanu has long been a powerful advocate for workplace equality and wider fair pay. Starting her career combating human trafficking and campaigning on women’s rights issues, Zara is now at the forefront of the push for technology to build more inclusive workplaces.
Yvonne Thompson CBE

Honoured by Queen Elizabeth II, with a CBE, she has also received 2 doctorates for her work in the Entrepreneurship, Global Diversity and Equality arena, and  was recently invited onto the prestigious StGeorge’s House, Leadership organisation based at Windsor Castle.  June 2019 will see her invested with an Honorary Fellowship by Kings College London University.
She published “7 Traits of Highly Successful Women on Boards”, promoting  greater gender and race diversity in company boardrooms and  sits on several boards, and public appointment committees. Her most recent appointment as Chair of the Radio Academy, representing the  UK’s Radio Industry, and Advisory Panel for OFCOM. 
Celebrating the 22nd anniversary of her women in business network  she  also  founded  WinTrade Week  convention and Awards themed “Womenomics” hosting and celebrating over 600 global women through a week of global business connections, networking, contracting and business development. 
Kirsty Waller

Kirsty Waller is Vice President of UKI Customer Marketing for Sage.  She is responsible for gaining insight and understanding of the ever-changing business environment for SMBs and supporting over 1m UK customers to scale and grow their businesses.
Kirsty’s professional experience covers brand strategy, digital transformation, customer acquisition, customer success and loyalty, and building thought leadership in the technology space.  Throughout her career she has had a focus on building high performance teams and is passionate about providing the right environment for people to thrive, take calculated risks and be the best they can be.
Ian Wallis

Ian Wallis is a former business journalist and co-founder of the Venturers Club, an entrepreneurs’ network. He started on e.Business Magazine in 1999 before joining Growing Business magazine where he became Managing Editor of the brand and, including its national events, the Startups Awards and Startups 100. As part of the founding team behind a video-based funding and services marketplace in 2008, he created an Entrepreneur TV channel featuring long-form interviews with the likes of Sir James Dyson and Specsavers’ Dame Mary Perkins.
Having rejoined Crimson Publishing in 2010 he helped to spin out and the business was acquired by MVF Global in 2017. Switching to PR, Ian joined FieldHouse Associates in December 2019 to launch BaseCamp, the agency’s PR-by-subscription service for startups, and is Senior Account Director there.
